Over the past year, TCS, Inc. has turned a bonus room into a fourth bedroom, building a closet with shelving and utilizing left over carpeting in the storage area. They have also added a fence and three gates around our large yard, changed dated light fixtures, updated bathroom fixtures and hung a myriad of pictures. Our only regret is that we didn’t hire them for the painting we had done in our house as well.

We were looking to have our kitchen renovated on a small budget and we were extremely upfront with the budget when interviewing companies for the job. After being disappointed by several companies who indicated they were interested in the work but either never sent quotes or didn’t show for appointments, we learned of BA through a mutual friend.

BA was extremely attentive from day one, never making us feel like our job wasn’t important. She thoroughly explained how she worked and what to expect through the renovation process. We could either go through her and her contacts for purchasing tile, granite, sink, etc., or she was just as willing to work with us if we wanted to pursue some of these things on our own. If BA wasn’t physically at our house on a given day, she would check in to make sure things were going well. As with any project, there are always unexpected challenges that arise and BA managed those issues to our complete satisfaction. There was never a time where we were left in charge of dealing with issues on our own and she provided realistic timelines for completion of our project.

All of her subcontractors were prompt and courteous. They were also very clean. Having young children in the house, this was a major concern of mine and I found that everyone cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. BA is an excellent project manager and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have work done. We hope to have her work on future projects in our house, as well.

B.A. Eagles and the Total Construction team worked on a major remodeling job on our historic horse farm in Raleigh. I am very pleased to recommend Total Construction Solutions.  I was first introduced to B.A. through Apex Cabinetry during the planning phase of a bathroom remodel.  We had T.C.S. perform most of the framing, close off a window that was no longer needed, repair the siding, and then come back for the finish carpentry.  They provided an excellent bid on the work, showed up on time and completed the work efficiently, keeping the project on schedule. Equally important, the quality of the work was excellent.  The siding matches perfectly, and the interior work is beautiful.  Since then, we have had B.A. and her crew come back for other minor repairs.  They are always flexible in their scheduling so that it matches my needs and availability, show up on time, and provide true value for the price.  When done, they always leave the work site cleaner than when they arrived.  I could not be more pleased and I am already planning additional projects for the New Year with them.

Our experience with Total Construction Solutions was terrific. The team was attentive to our needs, courteous and punctual. One of the important parts of any renovation is the selection of materials. B.A. and the whole TCS team were great to work with throughout the process of our screened porch addition. They worked efficiently around a few supply delays, managed all of my requests and adjustments and finished about 10 days AHEAD of schedule! BA was highly recommended to us by a family member and has completed two significant projects for us.  After contemplating for a year on whether to move or renovate, we opted for a renovation of our home.  The first project we entrusted BA with was turning our screened porch into a 3-season room.  When completed, it was better than we had envisioned and has become the favorite room of the house.  A few months later, the inside renovations began -- bathrooms and kitchen completely updated, new floors installed on the first level and upstairs bathrooms and hallway, stair bannisters replaced, crown molding added to the dining room, and the entire inside repainted and updated with new light fixtures, ceiling fans, and hardware.  This project was completed, start to finish, while we continued living in the house.  Although chaotic at times, BA made sure at the end of the day we had running water, electricity, and a completely functioning bathroom.

On both projects, BA listened intently to our ideas and concerns and made notes and sketches of everything discussed.  She and her subcontractors offered their professional opinions when warranted.  We opted to use her vendors to select tile, flooring, appliances, fixtures, etc. and found them all to be very professional and helpful, never pushy.  Once the chaos was underway, we had daily contact with BA, whether by e-mail, a phone call, or a personal visit to make sure everything was going according to plan.  We also received a status report by e-mail from her each day that detailed the work completed that day and a schedule of upcoming work, including which subcontractors we could expect to be working at the house.  If we had questions or concerns, she was prompt with a response, day or night.  We think this communication was key in making this huge project go so smoothly.  The few unexpected problems we did encounter, which are inevitable during any renovation project, were quickly resolved by BA and her crew to our satisfaction.

BA has an amazing work ethic, and she expects nothing less from her crews.  Her subcontractors were all very professional, prompt, courteous, and friendly.  They cleaned up each day before leaving, which was much appreciated considering this was being done while we were continuing to live in the house amongst the chaos.  We did not receive any financial surprises when the project was completed as BA’s initial quote and our extra add-ons during the project stayed well within our budget and expectations.  We would highly recommend BA to anyone that is looking to have work done to their home, no matter how big or small the project.

Renovating your home can be a stressful time in your life, especially during the holidays. So much is torn up, packed up, or dirtied up. Even though the last half of our addition and renovation time occurred between Halloween and Christmas, Total Construction Solutions made the process go as smooth as it possibly could. BA Eagles kept the renovation moving along with her superb organizational and management skills. All of the sub-contractors showed up when they were scheduled to and were friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, they always cleaned up after themselves (a real plus since we were living upstairs while they worked on our downstairs)!
